Share TweetBy Czarina Nicole Ong KiTwo former officials of Sara, Iloilo have been acquitted by the Sandiganbayan Fourth Division of their graft charges in relation to the reportedly overpriced construction of farm-to-market roads back in 2006. The second farm-to-market road, priced at P100,000, was from Sitio Kapinayan, Domingo to Sitio Sincua, Lemery. Because the anti-graft court already granted Neptali’s demurrer to evidence on October 25, 2018, the case against him was dismissed. The 19-page decision was penned by Associate Justice Bayani Jacinto with the concurrence of Chairperson Alex Quiroz and Associate Justice Reynaldo Cruz.
