GUJRAT: In light of the recent ‘honour killing’ case of the 26-year-old Italian-Pakistani woman, it has been confirmed that the woman was strangled to death by her father with a piece of cloth, whereas her brother overpowered her, a local media outlet reported. Moreover, Sana’s brother Adnan Cheema was distressed and regretted his act of helping his father in his sister’s murder. The suspects granted a two-day physical remand by a local court on Thursday after forensic reports confirmed that Sana was strangled. However, the police released the uncle following the confession of the father and brother of the deceased. The case had been picked up on social media with the hashtags #JusticeforSana and #TruthforSana demanding justice for the departed.
