Samsung unveils the Galaxy FoldGalaxy Fold [Photo: Courtesy]Samsung has finally unveiled its highly anticipated foldable smartphone, the imaginatively named Galaxy Fold, with an eye watering price tag of USD1,980.The phone, which will go on sale in the UK on May 3, has a 4.6-inch screen on the front, but opens like a book to reveal a 7.3-inch flexible display inside. Samsung said it has been working with Facebook, Google and Microsoft to create special versions of their popular apps to fit the new display. The internal components, including two battery cells, are evenly distributed across the two halves of the device, so the Galaxy Fold feels balanced in your hands, according to Samsung.
