The firmware upgrade is available for models of Galaxy S7, the Galaxy S7 edge, the Galaxy S6 edge+, the Galaxy Note 5, the Galaxy A7 (2016) and the Galaxy A5 (2016), Thai Samsung said in a press stsatement. Once the firmware update is completely installed, the Samsung Pay application will appear on the user’s home screen and/or app drawer. The in-app registration features allows new Samsung Pay users to register themselves to this proprietary payment system. Supported payment gateways and credit cards for Thai users are Visa and MasterCard issued by 4 financial institutions namely KTC, Citibank, Siam Commercial Bank, and Kasikornbank. However, customers will also be able to use Samsung Pay with Bank of Ayudhya on December 1st and Bangkok Bank on December 15th, the statement added.
