Samsung executive interrogated for 22 hours in bribery probeRUPTLY Samsung Electronics' Vice Chairman Lee Jae Yong was questioned at the independent counsel's office in Seoul on Thursday as a suspect in a wide-ranging bribery case that resulted in the impeachment of South Korea's president. Samsung Group vice-chairmain Lee Jae Yong left the South Korean special prosecutor's office on Friday after more than 22 hours of questioning on bribery suspicions. Lee denied bribery accusations during that hearing, rejecting assertions from lawmakers that Samsung lobbied to get the fund to back the merger. Her daughter, 20-year-old Chung Yoo-ra, was arrested by Danish police early this month after she was sought by South Korean authorities. Two other Samsung Group executives were questioned by special prosecutors on Monday and released.
