The update comes out as the smartphone named as "Samsung Galaxy S8" has been put up for pre-orders in the official Samsung India website. All through the registration process, the website shows only Samsung Galaxy S8 and shows no sign of the premium variant - Samsung Galaxy S8+. This should be taken with a pinch of salt as the company is yet to announce further details on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ India launch. Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are powered by Qualcomm's latest processor - Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz. Just to recall, Samsung Galaxy S8 was launched at a price of $720 (Rs 46,753), while S8+ was announced at $840 (Rs 54,545).
