Opposing the remand petition, defence counsels submitted a bail petition for Samrat but the court rejected the plea after hearing. On October 15, a Dhaka court put Samrat on a 10-day remand in two cases filed under Narcotics Control Act and arms act. The same court also placed Arman on a five-day remand in the anti-narcotics case on the same day. Samrat was sued under the Narcotics Control Act and arms act, while Arman was sued under the Narcotics Control Act only.
