Jubilee MPs yesterday criticised their NASA colleagues for boycotting President Uhuru Kenyattaâs address to Parliamentâs first sitting in a joint session of the National Assembly and Senate. Only one National Super Alliance MP Alfred Sambu (Webuye East) defied his bossesâ directive and attended Uhuruâs address. What is wrong to return the hand?âNational Assembly majority leader Aden Duale criticised NASA legislators and said they will not stop Parliamentâs activities. National Assembly chief whip and Mumias East MP Benjamin Washiali praised Uhuru, saying with the address out of the way Parliament can now begin its work. He said the National Assembly will today form the House Business Committee to draft the various activities Parliament should legislate.
