Bristol City have confirmed the signing of free agent Sam Morsy on a six-month deal until the end of the season. The 34-year-old captained Ipswich Town to back-to-back promotions from League One to the Premier League, before leaving the Tractor Boys this summer. "As soon as I heard of the interest, I could see it was a really good fit for me," Morsy said. "Gerhard [Struber] has an infectious personality and is a real winner and I know the style of football he wants to play. I am joining an amazing football club and amazing group."
