Sam Heughan fans on this side of the Atlantic are eagerly awaiting the release of romcom Love Again, which stars the Outlander heartthrob. But while fans loved the movie, Love Again has failed to captivate critics in quite the same way. Love Again stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Mia, a woman who can only watch on as her beloved fiance is killed in a car crash. There was criticism for the chemistry between Heughan and Chopra, perhaps understandable given the film was made at the height of Covid restrictions, with London standing in for New York. The Film Verdict's Alonso Duralde reckons he had "seen Hallmark movies where the romantic leads have better chemistry".
