He stated that he regularly conversed with the Ayawaso East Constituency MP and often sought his advise as a committee chair on certain issues. Speaking in an interview with GhanaWeb TV, Sam George said that the late MP’s death stunned him and that he wished him eternal rest. It’s not something we can run away from, but we can only give God thanks for the gift of his life and pray that Almighty Allah grants him peace.”Naser Toure Mahama was reported dead on the afternoon of Sunday, January 4, 2026. Born on March 17, 1965, in Nima, Accra, Mahama was a seasoned politician who represented the Ayawaso East Constituency in the Greater Accra Region on the ticket of the NDC.
