The Australian cattle farmers became indebted after printer ink salesmen kept phoning them and refused to take no for an answer. Rod and Charmaine Sharp, who live in Queensland, used one cartridge of ink every ten months in their home printer but over one year were intimidated into buying more than 2,000 spare cartridges. The cartridge company’s 28-year-old owner regularly posts on social media about his glamorous lifestyle, which includes BMW cars and nights out in Las Vegas. Some phone calls were taken by the couple’s young son.
