King Mohammed VI launched, on Friday in Sale, Rabat’s twin city, the construction works of a new “Community Medical Center-Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity” that will require a 67 million dirham investment and will be completed in two years. It also translates his keenness to promote the health offer by providing quality community-based medical services that meet the citizens’ needs. The facility also falls in in line with the sovereign’s efforts to promote access of disadvantaged social layers to quality basic health car, speed up surgeries in medical emergencies and ensure periodic medical consultations to patients requiring regular medical follow-up. The new medical center is built part of the program being implemented by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity. The program aims at supporting the national medical sector by reinforcing the existing medical care, setting up accessible health services centers and integrating a complementary social approach in patient support mechanisms.
