“About 30 percent advance tickets of launch cabins will be sold online, while 70 percent tickets will sell through counters installed by launch authorities,” Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) Chairman Commodore M Mahbub-ul Islam said. In a meeting, the BIWTA, and private launch owners decided to sell advance tickets of launch cabins on different routes from today (Monday), reports BSS. He said, anyone can buy the tickets of BIWTC ships at any time as the private sector mainly controls the passenger transportation. "Of these buses, 649 buses will operate from Dhaka, and 390 from different districts, and upazilas," he added. People will get all necessary information on the BRTC website: www.btrc.gov.bd, he added.
