Authorities at the Sakumono Hospital have reacted to claims by the campaign team of Tema West New Patriotic Party (NPP), Carlos Ahenkorah that the hospital should be blamed for the death of a 21-year-old who was knocked down by one of their campaign vehicles. 21-year-old Believe Sara, who was one of the two persons hit by the vehicle, died of injuries sustained in the accident after being rushed to the Sakomono Hospital. But these claims, an administrator at the Sakumono Hospital, Frank Essilfie said is untrue as the accident victim according to medical records at the hospital died eight (8) minutes after arrival and not thirty minutes as was claimed by Kwasi Poku. The patient, he added died from excessive bleeding from the face, nose as a result of the accident.
