After wrestler Sakshi Malik became the first Indian player to get a medal, bronze, at Rio 2016, Haryana government on Wednesday announced her as the brand ambassador of the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Badhao' initiative in the state. "It was my dream to win an Olympic medal and I worked really hard for that. "My coaches and my parents really helped me achieve my dream. "I had always thought of winning an Olympic medal but becoming a flag-bearer for my country was unbelievable. With the win, Malik became only the fourth Indian woman athlete to win an Olympic medal after Karnam Malleshwari, Mary Kom and Saina Nehwal.
