Officers from the 13th Ranger Regiment and the Burapha taskforce joined officers from Wang Somboon police station and Tambon Wang Mai chief Pichet Rakson to raid the home of Pol Sen Sgt-Major Pinij Sappakitpaibul, 39, in Tambon Wang Mai at 8pm. The raid was conducted after officials were tipped off that the house was used for distributing drugs in the area. The raid found 118 methamphetamine pills in the house. The policeman was taken to his own Wang Somboon station to face charges of having possession of illegal narcotics with intent to sell.
