Two teens in Saint-Hyacinthe, Que., have been arrested for allegedly plotting to kill three of their acquaintances. Quebec provincial police took the two teens — 14 and 16 years old — into custody on Wednesday after being alerted by concerned parents. Police carried out a search at a school, which they said revealed the plot was set to be carried out. The teens were charged with conspiracy to commit murder and assault. A spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec said teenagers should keep in mind that police take threats seriously even if they appear on social media.
