An active-duty sailor killed two people and wounded another before killing himself on Wednesday at the Pearl Harbor shipyard in Hawaii, according to base officials. Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam went on lockdown midday after reports of an active shooter at the base’s naval maintenance facility, the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. The Navy said the sailor opened fire at one of the dry docks at the shipyard. The base was reopened later in the day, officials said.
