A man fatally shot his niece on Wednesday in the 157-9L village of Sahiwal as the teenager had come between her parent’s fight with the intention to stop them. The man, identified as Abbas, started shooting at her as his brother-in-law, Nawaz, was fighting with his sister. “The 19-year-old girl died on the spot and the suspect fled,” police said. A first information report (FIR) of the incident was registered soon after.
