LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday, adjourning hearing of petitions for formation of a judicial commission on the Sahiwal incident till March 18, sought the judicial inquiry report on the incident. As the proceedings resumed, joint investigation team (JIT) head Syed Ijaz Shah, appeared before the bench and submitted a report. He stated that since the judicial inquiry had been in progress, the judicial commission was no longer required in the case. To a court inquiry, it was apprised that judicial inquiry’s one-month time would expire on March 14. Subsequently, the bench, adjourning the hearing till March 18, sought the judicial inquiry report.
