The funeral will take place on Thursday in Kati, a garrison town near the capital Bamako, it said. Another local official, also requesting anonymity, said “the jihadistsattacked this Wednesday a delegation of the Malian presidency. But a military source said four people had been killed and at least twoothers were missing after the attack. Mali has been battling a security and political crisis since jihadist andseparatist insurgencies broke out in the north of the country in 2012.
