Share TweetBy Jeffrey DamicogTwo respondents have been allowed Thursday (August 1) to present at the Department of Justice (DOJ) their witnesses same day next week to refute allegations of their involvement in the 2018 Sagay City massacre. A DOJ official privy to the case disclosed that during Thursday’s proceedings the prosecutor conducting the preliminary investigation of the complaint granted the appeal of respondents to present their witnesses. The official said the respondents complained of having difficulty finding their witnesses due to “security concerns.”Regardless of what happens, the official said the complaint will be submitted for resolution this Thursday. The complaint concerns the Oct. 20, 2018 killing of nine NFSW members inside Hacienda Nene in Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
