A Dhaka court on Sunday directed Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) again to submit probe report by December 29 in the sensational murder case of journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi. Metropolitan Rajesh Chowdhury passed the order as the RAB Assistant Superintendent of Police Mohiuddin Ahamed, also investigation officer of the case, failed to submit probe report on Sunday, the scheduled day its submission. Till now, the Sagar-Runi murder trial probe report has been deferred 76 times. Following the murder, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police started an investigation into the case filed in this connection.
