Driver Billal Hossain and bodyguard Rahmat Ali have been remanded in police custody for four and three days respectively in a case that accuses them of aiding their employer. ‪Two university girls started a case with Banani Police against five people, including two key suspects. The victims accused three others, including Billal and Rahmat, of aiding the rapists and filming the assault. ‪Billal and Rahmat were arrested in separate raids in Dhaka’s Nawabpur and Gulshan on Monday evening, police said. Safat and Shadman Sakif, a common friend of the alleged victims, and accused of assisting the rape, were arrested in Sylhet last week.
