Active Safaricom subscribers now stand a high chance of pocketing a million shillings over the next three months. Active users are those using Safaricom lines to call relatives and friends, operating business meetings and chama mobilisation and completing money transactions using M-Pesa. All Safaricom customers are eligible for the 10-week long promotion dubbed ‘Shukrani Kochokocho Kenya Nzima,’ that will run from February 20 to May 21, 2019. These transactions make more than 29 million Safaricom customers eligible for the campaign. M-PESA customers under this tariff, can send as little as Sh1.
