NEW DELHI: A three-storey building collapsed in central Delhi's Sadar Bazaar area on Friday evening, police said. "We received a phone call regarding the building collapse in Pan Mandi area of Sadar Bazar, near New Delhi railway station , around 5.20 p.m. and seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot," a senior Delhi Fire Services official told TOI.According to police, there were no reports of casualties yet, as people ran out of the building when a part of it fell initially. "The ground floor of the building had a couple of shops and the other floors were used to store merchandise," a Police official said, adding that the building has collapsed completely.This is the second such incident of the day in the national capital.Earlier in the day, a huge mound of a garbage dump collapsed in east Delhi's Ghazipur landfill site, killing two, while six others have been rescued by the locals.
