Nominated Jubilee MP Sabina Chege has hit out at Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition Chief Raila Odinga over her Jubilee Party membership. "I would like to look at Uhuru Kenyatta and Baba (Raila) in the face and ask, 'Did Sabina sacrifice for this party?" Later on April 23, 2022, Sabina Chege announced that she won’t be defending her seat in the August polls. The future of Sabina Chege now hangs in the balance after the Jubilee party threatened to recall her. Sabina Chege was among 32 MPs who met President William Ruto at the State House in February.
