Paramananda RajbongshiGuwahati, April 9: Asam Sahitya Sabha general secretary Paramananda Rajbongshi is set to resume duties in May. Though the president is the most revered person in the Sabha, it is the general secretary who plays the key role in its functioning, including organising events and sessions to communicating with organisations and individuals. Since then, Abani Mohan Saharia had been working as the general secretary (in-charge) of the Sabha. The term of the current executive body will end when a new elected executive body takes charge. The executive body decided that the 2020 session of the Sabha will be held at Kamalpur in Kamrup district.
