Sabha Medical Center rings alarm bells as power cuts in city persist

Sabha Medical Center has warned of closing the Centre and suspending its services as a result of the continued power outages in the city for the sixth day running. The Spokesman of Sabha Medical Center Osama Al-Wafi explained in a press statement that the Centre is experiencing a tragic situation where the Emergency and Child Department has been put out of service due to the continued interruption of electricity. Al-Wafi added that the other units in the hospital are being run by power generators; however, those as well are facing the risk of closing down due to the shortage of fuel supplies.
