Sabah tables surplus budget for third year in a row


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman has proposed a RM3.78 billion budget for Sabah in 2017, with a surplus of RM32.83 million. The budget comes with a projected revenue collection amounting to RM3.817 billion, he said when tabling the budget at the state assembly sitting here. "I am pleased to point out that once again this year, the state’s leadership is able to formulate a surplus budget. This is Sabah's third surplus budget in a row since 2015. Before that, the last surplus budget proposed was in 2008.
