KOTA KINABALU: Premier League side Sabah believe they have the pedigree to play in the Super League following their fine performance in the 2-1 defeat to Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) in Saturday’s FA Cup match at Likas Stadium. Sabah coach Jelius Ating said his team gave JDT a fright before the reigning Super League champions won in extra-time. “It shows we have the quality and that we can match teams in the Super League. However, the coach was unhappy with some of the decisions made by the referee. Team manager Datuk Juil Nuatim said his team will file a complaint on the referee to the FA of Malaysia.
