The evacuation order was issued at 2.10pm, with local authorities urging people in the Aranyaprathet municipality and nearby areas to move immediately to safe locations. Local residents reported hearing a series of loud blasts shortly before 2pm, with more than ten explosions occurring within minutes. The sounds prompted villagers, shopkeepers and market vendors to flee, while village chiefs began broadcasting evacuation instructions.
