MANILA, Philippines — A significant number of Filipino families with school-age children find blended learning more difficult than in-person classes, the latest Social Weather Stations survey suggests. Broken down, that's 61% saying it is much more difficult now and 28% saying it is somewhat more difficult now. The distribution among those who said the setup is difficult was highest in Visayas (92%), Metro Manila (90%), Mindanao (88%) and Balance Luzon (87%). "Furthermore, the percentage of families who say the system is much more difficult now is higher in the Visayas (63%), Balance Luzon (63%), and Mindanao (61%) than in Metro Manila (53%)," SWS said. Families from Visayas yielded the highest agreement at 53% compared with those in Mindanao (47%), Balance Luzon (43%) and Metro Manila (35%).
