A STARS air ambulance lifted into the air above Perimeter Highway on Wednesday afternoon after a serious collision just north of Winnipeg. The collision happened around 2 p.m. at Pipeline Road and Garden View Drive. The westbound lane of the highway was closed from Highway 7 to Highway 8 but has since reopened.
