The SSC and UP spikers clash at 4 p.m. with the winner joining early qualifiers National University and FEU. UP and SSC are locked in a three-way tie for third to fifth places with Ateneo. Ateneo needs to fine-tune its offense to have a better chance of downing FEU, which pulled off a 27-25, 25-20, 25-11win over SSC. SSC needs to recover fast from that defeat if it wants to beat UP. In the Spikers’ Turf, FEU (3-1) confronts La Salle (3-1) at 10 a.m., while Emilio Aguinaldo College (0-4) squares off with UST (3-1) at 12 noon.
