San Sebastian College-Recoletos (SSC-R) takes its turn to host the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) On Tour of Season 93 when it tackles Jose Rizal University (JRU) today at the San Sebastian College Gym in Manila. Despite having the home court advantage, Stags head coach Egay Macaraya does not want to take the Bombers lightly. “Jose Rizal (University) is a veteran team known for their defense and we have to be ready against them,” said Macaraya. Main man Michael Calisaan is expected to lead the host as the center-forward fired a game-high 28 points on top of 12 rebounds in the previous outing. Heavy Bombers head coach Vergel Meneses knows that they must outwork San Sebastian, which he compared with Lyceum, for them to win.
