SPLM-N Delegates Meet in Addis AbabaSeptember 13, 2017 - The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/North delegation, led by Abdel-Aziz al-Hilu (SPLM/N al-Hilu), discussed humanitarian assistance in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa. The delegates from the movement have discussed the humanitarian file in two areas with western officials and aid groups in Ethiopia. According to Lodi, the meetings discussed the humanitarian situation in the Two Areas as well as the best ways to deliver assistance to the needy population. He added the delegation also met with representatives from the internal groups of the opposition umbrella Sudan Call besides the Movement members in Addis Ababa. The Sudanese army has been fighting SPLM-N rebels in the Blue Nile and South Kordofan states, also known as the Two Areas since 2011.
