The Congress on Monday stepped up the steam on the bogus voting issue by alleging irregularities in the postal ballots cast by policemen on duty. The party leadership alleged that the pro-CPI(M) police association was in possession of the postal ballots. He alleged that the postal ballots were delivered at the addresses of association leaders. He wanted the election authorities to take back the postal ballots and hold fresh elections. Instead of taking proactive stand, the SPC tried to sue him for damages, Mr. Ramachandran alleged.
