PETALING JAYA: The Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) is investigating an incident where an express bus was filmed driving dangerously along the Karak Highway. The video showed a Darul Naim Express Sdn Bhd express bus speeding recklessly and threatening to run a car carrying three passengers - including a one-year-old child - into a road divider along the highway on Saturday. Subsequently, SPAD recorded a statement from the Darul Naim Express bus operator on Tuesday,” said the commission. In the video, the bus can be seen pursuing the car and weaving in and out between traffic on the three-lane highway. After the bus overtakes the car, the bus driver prevents them from moving forward by veering into their path on the rightmost lane.
