The Central Executive Committee of the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union has suspended the activities of its youths wing with immediate effect. According to him, the suspension came as a result of internal squabbles among the National Executives of the Youths Wing, leading to the alleged impeachment of its National Coordinator, Mr John Isaac, on the 20th August, 2022. A seven-man committee made up of members of the CEC and two other respectable members of SOKAPU outside the CEC, has been set up to look into the issues raised by the National Executive Committee of SOKAPU Youths Wing which carried out the said impeachment. The Committee has been given two weeks to carry out its findings and make recommendations to the CEC of SOKAPU. SOKAPU Youth Wing is a creation of Section 19 (iv) of the Constitution of SOKAPU with the major aim coordinating the youths of Southern Kaduna towards achieving the goals of SOKAPU.
