15 SMU will play Saturday’s showdown at No. 24 Memphis without star wide receiver Reggie Roberson Jr.Roberson sustained a foot injury in the first quarter of the Mustangs’ 34-31 victory over Houston on Oct. 24 and was seen in a walking boot and crutches after the game. Roberson’s 803 receiving yards rank eighth in the nation while his 18.7 yards per catch are tops for SMU (8-0, 4-0). His six receiving touchdowns rank second on the team. Rashee Rice, Myron Gailliard and tight end Kylen Granson likely will see more playing time in the absence of Roberson.
