PETALING JAYA: With the onset of technology, Star Media Group Bhd (SMG) is also set to use its digital education platform to help 20,000 English language teachers who will need to ace their Malaysian University English Test (MUET) by the end of the year. The Education Ministry recently announced that English language teachers in the country are required to sit for the MUET exam to test their proficiency levels. The Star’s NiE programme has been playing an active role in helping teachers make English language lessons fun and exciting for students over the last 22 years. “This adds to the toolbox of teachers who need a variety of activities to keep their students stimulated and interested in the English language,” said Ovinis. Written by a team of experienced English language teachers and specialists, the pullout is syllabus-based.
