(SMC) on Tuesday said recurring profits had grown by 20 percent in the first nine months of the year on the back of strong sales across all businesses. In a statement, the conglomerate said recurring net income grew to P52.4 billion during the period from P43.78 billion a year earlier. Its food firm, however, saw a 7-percent dip in net profit to P4.38 billion. Net profit was not disclosed. Net profit was also not reported.
