San Miguel Beer is set to replace Arizona Reid with Kevin Murphy according to import agent Sheryl Sanchez Reyes on Wednesday. “My understanding is the import (Murphy) is coming. I hope he fits well into San Miguel Beer’s system,” said Reyes. Reid had a faltering performance lately — 6-of-21 from the field and 1-of-6 from the three-point zone for 13 points in San Miguel Beer’s 102-110 loss to Barangay Ginebra San Miguel on Sunday. A two-time Best Import, Reid was San Miguel Beer’s import when it won the 2015 Governors’ Cup against Alaska.
