The Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has decided to form a new alliance, says its Senior Vice-Chairman Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa. There were alliances under the leadership of the SLFP that form governments. Considering that, my personal belief is that the problems that have arisen within this alliance so far are minimal. The main political party in this government is the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna. Apart from that, it is the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.
