The Sri Lanka Association of Software Service Companies (SLASSCOM) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) to facilitate the promotion of the NCCSL initiative, an online platform known as ‘fromsrilanka.com’, among SLASSCOM member companies. Fromsrilanka.com is Sri Lanka’s one stop online destination to source all Sri Lankan made products and services, owned and managed by The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka. “We are aware that this is the “LINK” which Sri Lanka was missing.The IT/BPM services industry is booming due to the rapid digital transformation around the world and Sri Lanka has great solutions to offer. Most global companies do their sourcing digitally nowadays, so through this platform those opportunities would easily reach us” says Asela De Livera, President, NCCSL. He added “The SLASSCOM industry strategy “Drifting the curve” is for building momentum to come out of the “corner” stronger in challenging situations.
