SportThe Sri Lanka cricket team management has decided to retain Angelo Mathews in Bangladesh as they expect a feedback of a medical report from England on his hamstring injury. On Thursday (18) Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) stated that "Captain Angelo Mathews is currently being treated for a right hamstring tightness. The hamstring tightness has occurred, while Mathews was batting in Sri Lanka – Zimbabwe Match of the ongoing Tri-Series in Bangladesh". "According to the team management, Mathews is currently being monitored," the press release added. Depending on the outcome of the report Sri Lanka will decide on Mathews' position for the remainder of the tour.
