The founder and chairman of SL Green Realty Corp., one of New York City’s largest commercial landlords, will be stepping down from his position as chairman of the board, the company announced Monday. After more than 20 years as chairman, Stephen L. Green, 80 years old, will assume the title of chairman emeritus, the real-estate investment trust said in a financial filing. Mr. Green intends to continue serving as a director of the company.
