A sub-inspector of Hosadurga police station in Chitradurga district, Girish, has been arrested for allegedly conspiring to kill his wife, Prafulla. Chidanand and Prafulla’s mother have also been arrested and sent to judicial custody. Girish had then given Rs.50,000 to Chidanand to kill her and project it as a suicide or accident. Second attemptOn June 4, Chidanand had taken Prafulla to his house for lunch in Sanganahalli in Gubbi taluk. She used to beat and abuse him and was also not giving food to his son for 3-4 days.
